two strangers

one thought reality was boring

the other saw too much fun in it

one wanted to have wings

and got sad because he couldn’t fly

the other regret the cruelty

that hands weren’t enough to touch the human soul

one wanted to live on Mars, Jupiter

or any other moon on a far away galaxy

the other dreamed about the day she would live in Bhutan

distant from any form or rhythm of oppression

one aspired to long space trips

the other sighed out of love for existential journeys

one had lost all hope

in any good of humanity

the other insisted and paid the price

for keeping her naivety alive

two strangers that

among so many roundabouts

had one thing in common

: they knew they were two strangers

who have found each other in

an even stranger
